Between 1990 and 2008, almost 1 million people gained access to improved sanitation facilities. The number of people using improved drinking water sources increased by 2.1 million.

Zimbabwe is NOT on track to reach the MDG target for sanitation. With the current stagnation, the target can't be achieved.
