The Secretariat of the Collaborative Council is based in Geneva, Switzerland. With representation in over 30 countries through WSSCC's Regional Representatives and National Coordinators, the Collaborative Council has a truly worldwide reach.

The Collaborative Council is governed by a multi-stakeholder Steering Committee elected by its members. At present the Collaborative Council counts over 900 members from a variety of stakeholders ranging from academia, NGOs, CBOs, international organisations, and national governments to the private sector. WSSCC benefits from a tremendous and unique source of experience and expertise!

The WSSCC is holding a By-election in order to fill two vacancies on the Steering Committee for Anglophone Africa and Latin America. The deadline for Anglophone Africa has now expired.
