Jayant Narsee Bhagwan
Jay Bhagwan has been at the forefront of water and sanitation issues in South Africa and the region. He has both field and policy experience and has been part of the South African Governments initiative to tackle the water and sanitation backlog. He holds many advisory positions in RSA including being on the ministry advisory board. He has also made significant contributions at the international level and assisted WSSCC in organising the WSSD activities as well as Africasan. Jay is young, enthusiastic, and full of innovation and ideas. He has a passion for water and sanitation and would like to see every person on this planet living a life of dignity. He brings with him a varied experience from grassroots to national policy and programmes. His foresight and creativity will add value to the activities of WSSCC and the cause.
