Nela Khan
Nela Khan is being involved in many self help water projects in the rural Communities using labour and other assistance from organized groups and concerned citizens, bringing communities and people together. She has been involved in WSSCC as a national coordinator and worked in schools and in many community groups conveying the message of the WSSCC and using the advocacy materials of the Collaborative Council. She assisted in the organization of the local government forum with the Collaborative Council in Trinidad. She focuses on assisting poorer and rural communities and served as local government councillor for 12 years and as deputy chairman / mayor.
