Achievements
The translation of the Home Hygiene Manual contributed considerably to localising the issues of sanitation and hygiene and exhibits efficient training tools. Other tangible impacts of the WASH programme in partner schools are well maintained filter water dispensers, functioning and clean school toilets, more hygienically managed school canteens, which has had the positive outcome of improved health leading to less absenteeism among children.
