These e-cards are part of the WASH Campaign that aims to draw attention to the water and sanitation crisis. The WASH Campaign materials are effective advocacy tools and are being used widely during the International Year of Sanitation (IYS) 2008 to raise awareness of water and sanitation-related issues. These include health, human dignity, the plight of women, the high numbers of avoidable child deaths, and the economic benefits of improved sanitation.
