Coalition produced a film on sanitation and hygiene which was shown on national
TV and is available on YouTube, and published a leaflet on the UNECE Protocol
on Water and Health.
Ukraine’s WASH 2009
initiatives combined both awareness raising public events and meetings with
practical work in schools and homes, and identified several recommendations for
future work.
Ukrainian Environmental NGO Mama - 86 together with the Water Information Centre in Kiev celebrated World Toilet Day on 19 November by organising information and communication activities.

competition entitled “Adequate Sanitation for Every Citizen of Ukraine!”
