Until, recently, people depended more on surface water which was exposed to microbial contamination resulting in water related disease like gastroenteritis, typhoid, dysentery, cholera, infectious hepatitis, infant diarrhoeas, and skin diseases and so on.

Proposal of environmental accounting housekeeping (EAH) books of domestic wastewater based on water pollutant loads per capita: a case study of Sanbanze Tidal Coastal Zone, Tokyo Bay

In this paper, basic concepts and examples of the format of environmental accounting housekeeping (EAH) books of municipal wastewater was proposed based on pollutant load analysis with the administrative water quality and quantity dataset in Japan.

Water quality and pollutant load in the ambient water and domestic wastewater pollutant discharges in the developing countries: survey results in autumn and winter in 2006

The purpose of the study was to apply the concept and estimation methods to prepare environmental accounting housekeeping (EAH) books of municipal wastewater in developing and middle-developed countries in South and South-east Asian countries. This paper presents information collection and field survey results conducted in 2006.
