WSP Research Brief - Investing in the Next Generation: Growing Tall and Smart with Toilets

Open defecation in Cambodia is among the highest in the world (65%) and stunting of under-five year old children remains high at 40%. A new research brief from the Water and Sanitation Program (WSP), "Investing in the Next Generation: Growing Tall and Smart with Toilets", examines how the level of open defecation in a community is associated with shorter children in Cambodia.

New fact sheet from GSF sub-grantee SNV on drivers of sanitation and hygiene change in rural Cambodia

SNV, a sub-grantee of the Global Sanitation Fund in Cambodia, is working in close cooperation with the government partners, community groups and other stakeholders in the five provinces of Kampong Cham, Takeo, Svay Rieng, Kampong Speu and Kandal to improve the health and quality of life for the rural households through enhanced access to improved sanitation and hygiene practices.
