Summary

In 2009, Diorano-WASH launched a pilot project in collaboration with the Scouting Federation of Madagascar (SFM) to develop an innovative hygiene promotion project led by young people. SFM’s wealth of experience in community mobilization and youth engagement coupled with support from Diorano-WASH made this project an exceptionally rich social marketing and learning experience. A young mother and scout leader shares her experiences with the Diorano-WASH project.
