Summary

The Uganda WASH Coalition organized a WASH advocacy workshop for media and National Community of Women Living with HIV/AIDS (NACWOLA). Objectives of the workshop were to inform and educate journalists and NACWOLA members on the importance of WASH issues for people living with HIV/AIDS and their caregivers, and to engage and encourage the media to advocate and report on WASH. At the close of the workshop, participants identified capacity building as a continuous need, as well as how to maximize the use of media to encourage information flow.
