About the author

The Philippines WASH coalition has a wide membership, including about 20 organizations, over 30 local government authorities, national government agencies, communities and individuals. The Coalition aims to increase water supply and sanitation coverage in communities most in need of them, and has identified five provinces in Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) as its focus area. This work includes promoting low-cost technologies, education and the building capacities of local government to enable poor communities in disadvantaged regions to achieve access to affordable safe water and sanitation.
