Nepal is set to become the third country launching its own national Global Sanitation Fund programme in 2010 after Madagascar and Senegal, marking the third WSSCC commitment of $5 million in donor funds over the coming 5 years.
The next milestone will be achieved by signing teh grant agreement between WSSCC/UNOPS and UN-Habitat, which will act as the Executive Agency in Nepal.
