Training manuals on IWRM; adreessing topics such as climate change, legialsation, groundwater management, gender, economics. Cap-Net is hosting 3 programmes: Climate Change and IWRM, Water integrity and accountability and Indicators for River Basin Organisations. Development and revision of curricula to address sustainable management and development of water resources and water supply, sanitation and health in a few institutions in Latin America, South Asia and South East Asia. Direct trainings by members and regional networks.

Origins and rationale of network
Cap-Net was set up as project under the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in 2002, with the first phase until 2006, and the 2nd phase from 2006-2010.
Objectives
Cap-net is focussing on capacity building in sustainable water management.Objective for Phase 2 is the development of regional and country networks.
