Creating and sharing knowledge on this issue was judged particularly necessary as early adaptation and improved governance for WASH is highly critical for the most vulnerable. The group discusses potential impacts and specific adaptation measures, undertakes studies, organises meetings dedicated to this topic and forming a working group hosted by WSSCC on WASH and climate change. The working group also exchanges experiences and positions of the organizations involved and explores climate change adaptation measures that serve to reduce the vulnerability of affected communities in relation to access to WASH services and in their broader water management activities
