Resources / Handwashing and Hygiene Training in Bulgaria

In Bulgaria, Earth Forever, in collaboration with Bulgaria Youth Red Cross targeted the first phase of the campaign on school sanitation involving 69 schools from 31 settlements in 14 Oblasts of Bulgaria. This is in line with its overall strategy, which involves

-- Strengthening of national WASH coalition in Bulgaria
-- Sanitation and hygiene awareness raising of Roma minority
-- Advocacy and mobilization for specialized state program targeting improved sanitation and hygiene education for rural schools, with an emphasis on mothers and children of Roma origin Informing and sensitizing media.
