Summary

Tohis policy brief (No 22) highlights the potential benefits of using menstrual cups elicited from findings of a feasibility study on the menstrual cup as a method in managing menstrual flow among adolescent girls and women in Kenya. This evidence aims at encouraging the formulation and implementation of policies that promote the  reproductive health and education rights of adolescent girls and women by tackling problems associated with managing menstrual flow and by improving access to appropriate menstrual products.
