In reviewing the United Nations Develpment Programme's data on Niger, it is evident that financial and technical support for access to water and basic sanitation are needed. DANIDA reviews their contributions to 2007 and introduces their specific water and sanitation programme called PASEHA designed to improve the quality of life through rehabilitation and construction of water supply works and latrine construction.  The presentation addresses the challenges, positive outcomes and lessons learnt for the PASEHA programme.
