Ramona Rata is from Romania.She holds a Bachelor degree in International Business and Economics and a Master Degree in Economics- Management. Her interest in international environment led her to focus on the international organizations activity and join them for various projects. Thus, prior to joining the Council in January 2011, she had assignments with the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria for various audit projects and the International Labor Organization (ILO) in the Finance Department, Treasury and Accounts Branch.
Her work experience also includes various administrative and finance related tasks accomplished during her appointments as Client Services Officer within the ING Bank and Support positions (Administrative and Finance Assistant) with a Geneva based financial company and a Swiss law firm.
