The Council focuses on regional and national level advocacy and coalition building for increased action, collaboration and political will for WASH issues.

It will expand national activities to include the implementation of sanitation and hygiene projects in collaboration with longstanding local partners. Experiences from the implementation project will directly feed into advocacy and policy development activities at both country and global level.
