With over 200 collaborating organisations, World Water Week which is held annually in Stockholm is the premier global focal point event for individuals and organisations that are working on various issues concerning water. This includes governments, non-governmental organisations, researchers, United Nations entities, business and the media. The theme for the 2013 week, which runs from 1 to 6 September, is Water Cooperation – Building Partnerships. The week is hosted and organised by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI).
