Annual Report 2018

WSSCC launched its Annual Report highlighting 2018 activities during our April Steering Committee meeting. With 892 million people worldwide still practicing open defecation and only 39% of the global population (2.9 billion people) using a safely managed sanitation facility, achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Target 6.2 remains the guiding principle for WSSCC’s work. Now in our second year of the 2017-2020 Strategic Plan, we continue to focus on achieving adequate and equitable sanitation and hygiene for all, focusing on putting the most vulnerable and marginalized people first.
