The final issue of the biannual Information Letter of the WSSCC/UN Women Joint Programme on Gender, Hygiene and Sanitation is now available for download in English and French.

Highlights are the inclusion of Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) in Senegal's new sectoral policy paper and in Cameroun's Humanitarian Policy, including the release of a pioneering study on MHM in Senegal focusing on Female Genital Mutilation (FGM).

The programme supports the governments of Senegal, Niger and Cameroon in the formulation of evidence-based and inclusive policies that address women and girl’s rights to water and sanitation.
