Jharkhand State Menstrual Hygiene Management Guidelines & Action Plan

The Government of Jharkhand is working towards development of all aspects of sanitation and hygiene, including menstruation. Stigmas and taboos associated with menstruation impact the ways it is perceived and managed. Working on Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) requires a well-planned out detailed strategy and coordinated efforts from various stakeholders and line departments. The Swachh Bharat Mission Grameen has taken up the role of conveying the MHM activities in Jharkhand State and this action plan will help departments come together. In addition, the document provides a framework for collaboration of various stakeholders to strengthen different areas of MHM.
