Upcoming BRAC Sanitation and Hygiene Practitioners Workshop

The Third regional Sanitation and Hygiene Practitioners’ Workshop organized by the Bangladeshi Rural Advancement Committee (BRAC), WaterAid and IRC International Water and Sanitation Centre will take place from 31 January – 2 February 2012 in the Bangladeshi capital of Dhaka.

The Workshop, for which WSSCC is a key partner, will thematically focus on: Sustainable sanitation services and sustained behavior change; Equity – reaching the poor and vulnerable; and Effective monitoring for change and improved planning. The Workshop will highlight successful case studies of sustainable hygiene and sanitation interventions. This major regional event, which will bring together over 40 practitioners and partners, has been established to support practitioners to identify practical approaches and ideas for improving their work; and to provide an informal setting where participants actively engage and interact with each other as part of a valuable and ongoing learning process.
